Identifying Your Road Map

Identifying a clear picture of your best moments builds a road map to what you want.

When were you the happiest in your life and felt successful? List a specific time you remember when you felt really happy and success followed. Can be even just one specific moment.

List who was around you when you felt that way? What type of people specifically.

What did your environment look like when you felt this way? Where were you, what were your surroundings? What did things specifically look like?

What did it feel like? Sensations, smells, specific things you could feel/ touch.

When you were there/ here what did this bring to you in that time?:

  • Creativity ?

  • Joy ?

  • Motivation ?

  • Love ?

  • Peace , laughter, specific emotions ?

  • XXX- List your specifics…

What was key to that moment in getting there? What were the key point contributors?

  • People

  • Environment

  • Specific actions ( routine and repeated actions)

What made it possible? Logistics ( where you live, access to what you need, the right support system, the correct things in place to allow for what you want)

Let’s look at these questions in each of these categories:

  • Health

  • Finances

  • Mental health

  • Spirituality

  • Educational growth

  • Play/ Social

  • Love/ Intimacy

  • Career

  • Friendships

  • Family

  • Athletics

Look deeply into these questions and you may learn more about yourself and what truly makes you happy and successful.

I do think that once people have a clear understanding when they are happiest and when success followed them, what that looks like specifically, it opens up new doors and allows them to make the right choices to keep being successful. That clear picture helps in those knee jerk reaction moments to keep us grounded and on the right track because we have full confidence in our personal direction.
