Athlete/Coach Assessment

Please take a moment to add some notes here. This can be as brief or as detailed as you like. Once you have completed your notes and sent them back to me I will provide insight to what I see from my end. This process is helpful for both athlete and coach to dive into an even deeper understanding beyond the day to day sessions on how things feel. Oftentimes when we look only at each session individually we have a snap judgement on how things are going. Taking a moment for a broader view allows us to assess where we need work and where we feel strong right now.

What feels easy to me:

*Example- Long durations at Z2/ Aerobic Endurance 

Handling weekly volume feels manageable. 

Strength feels good. 

Speed for anything under 60sec on complete recovery. 

Tempo work up to 60min total

Nutrition and sleep are good. 


What feels hard to me right now:

*Example- 

Sustained threshold effort over 10min long. 

V02 for over 2min or hitting high power numbers for over 2min.

Life stress with family/work is high. 

Tightness in the right quad.

Sustained tempo over 2hours
